As a goldsmith based on the outskirts of the tranquil seaside town of Holywood, County Down, Angela designs and creates unique, handcrafted jewellery for clients across Northern Ireland and beyond. Her workshop focuses on bespoke commissions, engagement rings, wedding bands and one‑of‑a‑kind pieces made to be worn and cherished.
Handcrafted jewellery in gold, silver and gemstones
Every piece is individually handcrafted using traditional materials such as gold and silver, combined with carefully selected precious gemstones. Her aim is to create jewellery that balances craftsmanship, comfort and beauty, resulting in timeless designs with a contemporary feel.
Trained at the Goldsmiths’ School of Pforzheim, Germany
Originally from Germany, she is a graduate of the world‑renowned Goldsmiths’ School in Pforzheim, the country’s centre of the jewellery trade. This rigorous training, together with years of hands‑on experience, underpins the quality and precision of every item she makes.
Extensive experience in jewellery design and stone setting
Her career includes teaching jewellery design, completing a three‑year apprenticeship with a respected jewellery designer, and working for a jewellery gallery in Munich. After qualifying as a Master Goldsmith, she joined a leading jewellery manufacturer in Germany, where she gained extensive experience in setting diamonds and other precious stones.
Jewellery designer in Northern Ireland
Angela moved to Northern Ireland with her family in August 2009 and now creates jewellery from her workshop close to Belfast. Her work is displayed at the Craft NI Gallery in Belfast, and she exhibits at a small number of carefully selected fairs throughout the year. She also presents her jewellery every Sunday at St George’s Market in Belfast, where customers can view and try on pieces in person.
Bespoke commissions and special occasion pieces
Commissioned work ranges from engagement rings and wedding jewellery to special presentation pieces, including prizes for the Ladies’ Captain’s Day at Helen’s Bay Golf Club. She specialises in custom‑made jewellery for all special occasions, working closely with clients to develop designs that reflect their story and style.
